Role and Responsibilities:

  • To provide quality service after sales of compressor air systems. This includes: performing installations, commissioning, customer training, corrective and preventive maintenance, etc.
  • Respond to customer service requests for repair and maintenance. Troubleshoot problems, take corrective actions and complete testing in timely manner and according to procedures.
  • Prepare and document accurate and detailed service reports upon completion of each service.
  • Maintain relationship with sales team internally and customer externally.
  • Discuss and participate with team members on service delivery improvements.
  • Responsible for availability and functionality of service tools used
  • Ensure availability of parts replacements for the scheduled visit.

  • Deliver overall SQCDSM targets for the line and unit related to all types of maintenance

  • Owns and control the overall changes on the equipments on the line/unit and provide training and new standards for changes
  • Work with the Process Engineer and Line Leader on improvement of operation/process and equipment
  • Ensure the right level of inventory of spares is maintained in line with maintenance plans for his line/unit.
  • Lead the RCA of breakdowns with operators on the line and develop plans, systems and actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Any other task that may be assigned.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background – Graduate with Bachelors Degree in any discipline, preferarbly from Engineering.
  • Years of Experience – 6 - 7 Years of similar experience in leading teams of 50+ heads in shifts
  • Industry – Open to any Industry, but Preferably food to ensure standards, work processes, technologies are similar and easy for understanding.

Job Summary

This position is Senior Process Engineer in the Process Engineering group. Primary responsibility includes day-to-day final escalation points for plant processing issues (paste processing & moulding lines) & CAPEX projects not limited to plant level Miscellaneous CAPEX projects & Major CAPEX projects. CAPEX projects include new process feasibility study, existing equipment capability understanding & optimization, cost estimation for new lines/specific processing equipment, new process design, installation, commissioning & handover process

Secondary responsibility includes process development and process optimization. In this function, the Senior Process Engineer will be Working closely with Engineering peers inclusive of Controls, Packaging, CAPEX & CAD engineers, Operations, Planning & Logistics, Quality Regulatory & Compliance, Safety, R&D, Operation Business Development & Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities:-

  1. Responsible to initiate CAPEX projects, inclusive of process design, equipment specification & sourcing, PFD & P&ID development, carry out trial for NPI request, installation, commissioning, handovers inclusive of trainings & troubleshooting. 
  2. Managing process engineering CAPEX projects which includes feasibility study, cost estimates, lead time estimates & resource management (internal & external) with extensive collaboration with plant stakeholders. Ensure accurate CAPEX budget spending with spending forecast.
  3. Day-to-day escalations on plant daily processing issues & ensuring all processing lines are running on an optimal condition with minimal downtime. As PM trainer and auditor, working closely with Reliability Team to improve Planned Maintenance in the paste processing & moulding lines.

Requirements:-

  1. Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Food or Agricultural Engineering
  2. Minimum 5 years in Process Engineering with past experience in leading the Process Engineering portion of multiple projects is required.
  3. Experience with PFD’s, P&ID’s and GMP’s required.
  4. Minimum 5 years previous experience in the Confectionery, Food, Chemical and/or Pharmaceutical industry is preferred 
  5. Excellent leadership and decision making ability.
