Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the Financial Controller in ensuring that the Accounting Department operates smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensuring that the bookkeeping is done accurately.
  • Assist with preparing the monthly Financial Package.
  • Handling & monitoring the General Ledger Accounts.
  • Daily auditing of all records pertaining to revenue of the hotel.
  • Prepares daily income and statistics reports.
  • Prepares relevant documents for incorporation in the monthly accounts.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the hotel's management.

This challenging full time hands-on position is for you if you:

  • 4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major.
  • Some qualification in OMA/ ICASL/ AAT or equivalent in the Hospitality industry would be an added advantage.
  • 2 years work experience required.
  • Good command of English language.
  • Hotel accounting experience is a strong advantage.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

His primary duty is to prompt and efficient service of all Food and Beverage items available in our outlets.  The strength and sincerity of the Shangri-La Boracay image should reflect at all times through a friendly, courteous manner and helpful attitude, extending beyond guest’s expectation.  It should be noted that Service Associates can be designated in charge of any area at any time and therefore must have a full and comprehensive working knowledge of all areas within the Food and Beverage Division.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in an international hotel with the same capacity is an advantage.
  • Strong background in Bartending, F&B Service and Operations. 
  • A self-starter, guest-oriented, with eye for details, has initiative and anticipation.
  • Membership in the Philippine Bartenders League/ International Bartenders Association is a plus.
  • Oral and Written Fluency in both English and Filipino. Knowledge in other foreign language is an advantage.
  • A graduate of Hospitality Management/ International Management or any related course.

Prepare drink orders for guests according to specified recipes using measuring systems. Issue, open, and serve wine/champagne bottles. Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools. Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks. Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies. Transport supplies to bar set-up area. Wash soiled glassware. Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area. Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs. Process all payment methods. Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank. Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas. Complete closing duties.

 

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
