For our refined and personalized F&B Operation, we are now welcoming applicants for the position of Restaurant & Banquet Manager for a small and elegant a la carte restaurant, a small bar lounge, a side walk cafe, pool side dining, room service and a small function room for 150 pax theatre style.

Day-to-day, you'll be...

  • Building and maintaining high-quality relationships with hotel guests & corporate clients staying with us and using our meeting facilities
  • Training up your staff to deliver a high standard of friendly and personalized service to guests
  • Managing daily F&B operations of the restaurant, bar and banqueting
  • Soliciting guest feedback
  • Using that feedback to help us improve our F&B operation
  • Improving the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for your areas of responsibility

This role requires:

  • A "make it happen" attitude: if you don't know it, learn it. If you don't understand, ask. If something is not working, find out why. Excuses or non-constructive complaints won't lead you or us to any kind of success.
  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager, Maitre D or Assistant Restaurant Manager
  • Banqueting experience is highly desirable
  • Previous experience living/working outside your home country, preferably in Asia.

For our refined F&B Operation that includes an elegant gourmet a la carte restaurant and 150 seat banquet room, we are now welcoming applicants for the position of Chef de Cuisine/ Head Chef (French/Mediterranean/Western Cuisine).

This challenging full time hands-on position is for you if you:

  • have experience in French/Mediterranean/Western Cuisine.
  • are an accomplished chef who loves to cook, with a passion for creating new dishes, a strong personal style, and desire the freedom in the creation of the menu.
  • gain satisfaction from meeting & talking with the guests in the restaurant.
  • have advanced culinary skills, including food production, creation of new dishes, and presentation skills.
  • have experience in a la carte and banquet cookery as well as cocktail style finger food.
  • have a minimum of 3 years experience supervising in a medium volume, scratch-cooking kitchen.
  • have strong organization and communication skills because you have to coordinate and work with other departments in the hotel.
  • are willing to work with a young team who will need hands on training from you.

Position reports to the General Manager.

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Outlet Manager to lead our hotel restaurant and bar operations to provide our guests with excellent customer service. Reporting to our F&B Manager, the Outlet Manager will work closely with our F&B team to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. Our busy open-air restaurant provides guests with a mixture of eastern and western cuisines and delicious cocktails to cater for all types of guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant and bar operations, maintaining the highest standards of service quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Lead and train a diverse team of servers, bartenders, hosts, and support staff.
  • Create and maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere that reflects the unique character of our establishment.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure seamless coordination between the kitchen and front-of-house operations.
  • Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and manage supplier relationships to ensure the availability of quality ingredients and beverages.
  • Address guest concerns and feedback with professionalism and a commitment to resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as applicable legal regulations.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to promote special events, themed nights, and other initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate must be willing to work and relocate to Dili, Timor Leste.
  • Diploma or equivalent in hospitality.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in in a senior supervisory role or minimum 1 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager.
  • Strong understanding of food and beverage operations, including cocktail preparation and wine knowledge.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both with staff and customers.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems, inventory management software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Detail-oriented and able to handle high-pressure situations with a calm demeanour.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to introduce innovative ideas for improving guest experiences.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Languages required: Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
